Monica has assisted hundreds of clients in reaching amicable resolutions to their cases through both mediation and informal settlement methods. Additionally, she is a fierce litigator who represents her clients zealously and tenaciously in the courtroom. Monica has received numerous awards recognizing her excellent work in family law. In 2022, Monica was honored to receive the high distinction of Thomson Reuters “Super Lawyer”, an award which is given to only the top 5% of attorneys nationwide and is based upon peer recommendations and a through vetting process by Thomson Reuters.
Monica prides herself in being accessible to her clients so that they can have their questions answered and their concerns addressed during the most challenging time in their lives. She understands that when people come to a family law attorney for help, they are placing their family into that person’s hands. This is a responsibility that she takes very seriously. It is Monica’s goal to help each of her clients achieve the best possible results for themselves and for their families while simultaneously setting their minds at ease until their case reaches its conclusion.
When Monica is not working, she is busy keeping up with her two active girls and her husband in Collin County. Monica is involved in her church where she enjoys singing in the choir. She also loves traveling, hunting, gardening, classical music and opera, and spending time in West Texas on the family ranch.
