John J. Mongogna has worked as a business attorney with a concentration in litigation and Transaction since 1997 when he was licensed by the State Bar of Texas. Before he began his career as an attorney he was privileged to work as a Legislative Aid to United States Representative Larry Combest in Lubbock, Texas. He began his practice working for a small to midsized law firm in Dallas representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants. Prior to coming to Albin Oldner Law, PLLC he worked for a large law firm handling complex litigation cases and business transactions. He has represented companies in large commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, high profile insurance defense cases, non-competition cases, real estate disputes, franchise matters, construction defect cases, dram shop, crane cases, and business dissolution disputes. He has worked on the Plaintiff and Defense sides of many wrongful death, personal injury, including Trucking, Construction, Automobile, Premises Liability, Job Site Accidents, and consumer matters including DTPA. He has represented hospitals, airlines, political departments, including constables, sheriffs, and commissioners. He has extensive experience in jury trials, emergency, and injunctive matters, and many non-jury trials.

John is a resident of Collin County and he is an active member in the community, church and has served on several Boards and is regularly involved with Charities and Foundations. One of John’s passions is to participate and help lead Disaster Relief mission trips. John is involved in several Associations and has received several awards in the legal community.

John is a fan of Texas Tech University and their Athletic Program. During his time attending Texas Tech he was awarded the Regents Scholarship from 1994-1997, the W.R. Quilliam Memorial Endowed Scholarship from 1995-1997, the Ex-Students Association Award Scholarship from 1991-1994, and Athletic Scholarships 1991-1994.
