Taylor Mohr was adopted at the age of three. While there was no way for her to know it at the time, it was that experience that set her on the road to becoming a Family Law attorney, helping others to navigate a legal system that’s incredibly complex and often overwhelming.
Taylor is one of the 1% of licensed attorneys Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is an active member in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists. She represents clients through divorces, modifications, enforcements, child custody matters, probate and estate planning. She takes the time to truly listen and educate her clients on the law, and she is a fierce advocate both in settlement and in litigation.
Taylor’s hard work and passion for her clients has brought her accolades from some prominent legal communities and organizations. Thomson Reuters named Taylor to its annual list of Texas Rising Stars for the last 5 years running, to its Top 100 Up and Coming Attorneys in 2021, and to its Top 50 Up and Coming Women in 2021. D Magazine named her a Top Attorney Under 40 in 2019, and she was selected as a Fellow to the Texas Bar Foundation in 2020 along with many other awards and recognitions.
Taylor graduated high school at the age of 17 and attended Baylor University after being named a Presidential Scholar. She graduated summa cum laude at the age of 20 with a 4.0 GPA, and she received a full-tuition scholarship to Baylor Law School. While at Baylor Law School, Taylor interned for Judge Walter Smith of the Western District of Texas and for the Office of the General Counsel for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, while also being active in the Student Bar Association.
A foodie and travel lover, Taylor and her husband are currently raising 4 kids in Denton County. Taylor is also a certified sommelier.
